Hi I'm Cameron

I'm a wife, mother of six, grandmother of 13, sister, friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy doing things with my family, serving in the Church, reading , camping, gardening, designing and creating solutions for our home and yard challenges, and helping my husband with our small business.

Why I am a Mormon

As a high school senior in Southern California, I was looking for a church to give meaning to my life following my parents' divorce. During a cast party, after a school play, a lovely freshman girl asked me for a ride home, so she could get up early the next morning to attend church meetings with her family. I was impressed with her commitment and wanted to know more. Previously, I had made a check-list of what I thought a church should be like. She had the missionaries contact me and a few weeks later I was baptized. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints fulfilled that list and much more. It felt like coming home. Since that time of beginning faith, I have grown in knowledge and experience and have never doubted the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. It is my life and my eternal joy.

How I live my faith

I have served in many capacities since joining the Church, usually in teaching and some leadership positions. For the past five years, I have taught an early-morning scripture study class for teenagers. What a wonderful, challenging experience that has been, trying to stay ahead of them. The knowledge and understanding they bring to class is impressive. Who would have thought as a new member, I would learn so much, from teaching a class, to leading music, to lashing and dutch oven cooking, to conducting meetings and organizing activities for large groups of people, and researching family history on the computer. Now I have a new position with new areas of growth ahead. I am so blessed.
