Hi I'm Janet

I grew up in London. I am a widowed mother of five children. I am a hospital volunteer and a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a widowed mother of five children and a University student. I am also a family history consultant. I enjoy swimming, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints after searching many religions and discovering that Mormonism answered all my questions. God has have helped me to shape my life and I enjoy Gospel learning on sundays with other Mormons.

How I live my faith

I enjoy visiting with other ladies in the church to assist with their needs, working in the Church of Jesus Christ Temple and feeding the missionaries.

What is being a Mormon like?

Janet
Mormons have the same problems, trials and challenges as everyone in the world, prayers, scripture study and attending the Mormon church gives me strength to keep going. I find joy in helping others, being with my family, living God's commandments and knowing that I will be with my family in the next life. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Janet
When Jesus Christ was on the earth, he reached out to everyones physical and spiritual needs. We likewise follow this practise as Mormons. Since 1985 the Mormon Church has reached out to 167 different countries, where disasters have struck, to non Christians communities especially. In the words of Joseph Smith, we are to "feed the hungry, clothe the naked, provide for the widow, dry up the tear of the orphan and to comfort the afflicted". Show more Show less
