Hi I'm Melissa

I'm a mother of 2. I'm also a wife, daughter, sister and aunt. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of 2 beautiful active kids. I work part time from home doing medical billing. I have never been able to go to college, but would love to go to school someday. For now I enjoy taking my kids to their sports and activities. I have many things that I love to do. I love to craft, cook, sew, clean and organize. I also love to camp, 4 wheel, hike and travel.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a strong LDS home. I have read The Book of Mormon and I know it's true. I know Jesus Christ is our Savior. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet. Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet on the earth today. He leads, guides, and directs us. I want my children to know the truths of the gospel. I want them to have the true teachings to help them throughout their lives. Having the gospel in my life helps me be a better person, it gives me the direction I need to make it in this life. I know that being a member gives me the strength I need to continue.

How I live my faith

I am what I am because of my belief in Jesus Christ. I strive to be like Him in all that I do and say daily. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ isn't just on Sunday, it is every day of my life. I sit down each morning while my kids eat breakfast and read the scriptures to them. We hold family home evening on Monday nights. I attend my Sunday meetings, weekly activities and worship in the temple often. All these things help and strengthen my faith in Jesus Christ and make me a better person. I currently serve with the youth and love them. There are amazing Young Women in our area who stand up for their beliefs and do what is right. They are a great strength and example to me. These fine young people have been saved for the latter days.
