I share crop my vegetable garden out with one of my neighbors. It is big enough for both of our families. It is great to have someone to talk to while weeding. I am good with math and science so I went to the college in Utah and got a degree in Electrical Engineering. I current am working in the support organization and love to help customers. I love to program. It is great fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a family with the Mormon faith. At a young age I loved the scriptures and stories about Jesus. I always thought it was true but I had to find out for myself. On a wilderness survival experience, I was challenged to go off into the woods to pray and ask god if it was true. Most of my friends went off in groups but I decided to do it by myself. I prayed and mediated for about 3 hours. It was during this time that I new that my Heavenly Father was there and loved me. I also knew that Jesus Christ is my savior and that he also loves me. I then knew that I needed to keep reading my scriptures to stay close to Jesus Christ. Ever since this experience I have always wanted to follow in Jesus Christ footsteps. I feel closest to my Savior when I am active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.

How I live my faith

I love to help others. I always start at home with my own family. All the women in the ward can help with visiting teaching. I love to do this as I make new friends with the ladies that I visit and teach. They also teach me a lot in return. I love to work with the youth in the church. I currently am called to be a family history consultant. I have also been serving on the scout committee to help the boys of the ward become Eagle Scouts. Both of my boys are Eagle Scouts.
