Hi I'm Chris

I'm a husband, a father, a dentist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family, teeth, and cycling. In that order. Between chasing around snotty-nosed kids and drillin and fillin, I enjoy a good weekend ride on the bike burning the fat gained from Taco Bell Tuesday. There's nothing like watching the sun rise over the Sonoran desert. I love Arizona! My family and I love being in the outdoors whether it's hiking Usery trail, heading up north to the mountains, or just the local neighborhood park. I

Why I am a Mormon

Our world definitely has no shortage of people searching for happiness in whatever form they may assume it may be. I am a Mormon because I have found true joy living the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am not perfect, that is for sure, but I am trying every day to live according to how the Savior lived. As I do, I feel peace and happiness that is deep. I am a Mormon because I've felt that peace as I read the scriptures, as I spend time with my family, and pray to my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I spend several hours each week as an adviser to a group of young men ages 16-19 helping them plan Scouting activities and service opportunities in the community. Along the way, we sure have a lot of fun too. We've been on amazing backpacking trips to the Grand Canyon, triathlons, shotgun shooting, and many others. Volunteering with these bright, up and coming young men has taught me how important it is to make good choices while you are young. It has helped me at home as a parent and husband to recognize that the little choices we make in life added up equal a person and that many of the choices that lead to a successful, happy life occur in those teenage years. I also volunteer in local schools and organizations locally educating children and their parents about good oral hygiene and how to keep the kiddos out of my dental chair. I've had the opportunity to travel to different countries around the world volunteering my time and talents helping the local people with infections and pain. It is very rewarding!
