Hi I'm Shawn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a High School teacher, I am an Athletic Director, I am a Team Roper, and I am a coach. I love the sport of football and rodeo. I'm a dad and my favorite pastime is watching my kids compete in sports. My wife and I have three beautiful children: a 13 year old son, a 12 year old daughter, and a 7 year old daughter... they are the light of my life. I love my family and they are the most important thing in my life. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the great outdoors. I love to rope, hunt, coach football, go boating, go quading, or just about anything that allows me to be outside. I have coached High School Football for the past 18 years and have loved every minute of that. I believe true happiness is found in serving your family and others around you.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am in search of true and everlasting happiness. I know that this gospel, the gospel of Jesus Christ, is true and provides me and my family with that happiness. Having the Gospel in my life is one of the greatest blessing I could ever want. I know that families are meant to be together forever and this Gospel teaches us that the Lord has provided a way for that to happen. I love my family with all my heart and want to live with them for eternity. I know without a dout that Jesus Christ, the savior of the world, has made it possible for this to happen and live with Heavenly Father forever. These are just a few of the major reasons why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying each and everyday to serve others and be a good example to my family and friends. I go to church every Sunday to learn ways I can serve the Lord... I love serving the Lord and know that when I serve others I am serving Him. I have had the opprotunity to serve in various callings through out the Church and each calling has taught me the importance of living the Gospel. This Gospel is not a "just go to chruch on Sundays" Gospel. You have to strive to live it each and everyday. There is so much that needs to be done everyday to show our love and committment to the Savior.
