Hi I'm Vince

I was born into a military family and lived many places, including England where I helped to build an LDS Church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am father to four wonderful children and a multitude of 'extra' kids. I recently married my childhood sweetheart who loves my sense of humor. I consider myself a "Jack-of-all-trades, but-a-master-of-none." I enjoy boating, camping and traveling with my family. My new wife was recently baptised in the Church and we both look forward to growing in the Church and to the time when we can be married in the Temple and Sealed together for eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of LDS at the age of 12 when my parents converted. As a youth I participated in the building of an LDS Church in Thetford, England and my life was full and happy. Although I had a period as a young adult when I strayed from the teachings of the Church, I always knew the Church was true and have found comfort and acceptance as I've come back as an active member. I have received many blessings for which I am grateful and I want the same for my children.

How I live my faith

I strongly believe in giving back to my community. I coached youth baseball for many years and enjoyed being a positive role model for youths from difficult backgrounds. I enjoy volunteering my time to organizations that help those that are less fortunate, such as the Bishop's Storehouse and the Salvation Army.

What is being a Mormon like?

Vince
I am not a perfect human being, but I know that in my Church I can find acceptance and forgiveness. I can study the Bible and Book of Mormon on my own and with others. There is no pressure to be something or someone specific, but there is encouragement and support from everyone to help you be the best you can be, to help others, and to follow God's Plan. The Church is a very large family that helps you with gentle and loving guidance. Show more Show less
