Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Civil Engineer and an Architect. When not working I enjoy riding my Harley and flying. I married my wife in 1973 after returning from my duty station in Southeast Asia. I spent the next several years in college while my wife and I worked and raised a family.

Why I am a Mormon

My wife and I joined the Mormon Church soon after we were married because we wanted a church to raise our family in. It has been a great blessing in our lives. I don't know what my life would be like today if I wasn't grounded in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for a caring Mormon Bishop and the missionaries who taught us.

How I live my faith

Both my wife and I have callings in the Church as Mormon (LDS) Chaplain's at the Federal Prison. We also volunteer at the Mesa, Arizona Temple once a week. I have had many callings in the Church since I joined, but so far this is the most special to me. Visiting with men and women at the prison who are truly trying to change their lives is so rewarding and shows me that the Lord knows each of us by name and cares about all of His children.
