Hi I'm Jesse.

I am a father and husband. I enjoy sports, hunting, camping, the outdoors and shooting.

About Me

I am 30 years old and live in a small town in the White Mountains of Arizona. I am a graduate from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management. I currently work for a local utility company in their Major Projects department in the role of a Contract Administrator. I have been married for 7 years and have a daughter and a son on the way. I enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy shooting, and have a small gun collection. I enjoy hunting and would enjoy fishing if I were any good at it. My family and I love camping and cooking outdoors. I also enjoy watching my daughter’s soccer games and look forward to watching her dance as she has recently started a dance class. I enjoy playing and watching sports, but I am not quite the fan I was when I was younger.

Why I am a Mormon

As far as why I am a Mormon; this is an easy question for me. I could say that I am a Mormon because that is how I was raised, but that would not answer why I am Mormon now. I am a Mormon because as I have tried to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ I have been happy. I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and while reading it, compared its teachings with those of the Savior in the Bible and found that they agree. I also prayed and asked God if the Book of Mormon was true and if it was scripture. And I received an answer to my prayer and I knew the Book of Mormon was true. I have found that as I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ that are found in the Bible and Book of Mormon I am happy. I am a Mormon because the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints explained to me what the purpose of this life is. They have taught me about where I came from before this mortal life, and what my ultimate potential is. This information gives my life purpose and meaning and teaches why the family is important in God’s plan. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving my family and providing for their needs. I live my faith by striving to know my Savior by studying His words in the scriptures. I do my best to avoid those things in the world that are spiritually detrimental. I live my faith by teaching others what I know about my Savior.
