Hi I'm Lauren
I love swimming, I am serving as ASL missionary in California San Fernando Mission, I'm deaf and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am 19 years old and I am deaf. The cause of it; I was born with Leopard syndrome. I went to school that's far away from my home and Seminary, because they has special program for deaf students. I enjoy reading fiction books and scriptures. I also enjoying talking with non-members about my beliefs and about church and gospel. Now I am serving as ASL missionary in California San Fernando Mission
Why I am a Mormon
My family have been Mormon for generations. My great-great-great-great-great uncle is Brigham Young and my great-great-great-grandfather is Wilford Woodruff. I am Mormon because I believe that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ look down to our world and see good changes and people following the gospel and the Word of Wisdom. When I follow the Word of Wisdom, In my definition to be physically and spiritually clean. I said no whenever my friends offered me to buy coffee, and I don't participate parties whenever there are drinking, smoking or any of the drugs that are involved. Whenever I am feeling alone or need help, he will be there for me, and help me to go through things in the most mysterious ways.
How I live my faith
By studying scriptures, ponder what I read and study, then I pray about it. Sometimes when I think of questions, I write down in my journal. When I found answer toward to my questions I just write down whenever I need to remember. I had experience attending to seminary, through without interpreter which made me to difficult to understand what is going on. I often asks the teacher one-and-one some question that were unclear to me. As they explain to me i can feel short burst of spirit over me because I able to understand what is going on, what they been talking about.
