Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up in Canada, Colorado, and Utah. I am now living in Arizona with my husband and two year old daughter, Lynlee.

About Me

I am a mother of a two year old daughter. My husband is a dentist, and I have the privilege of staying at home and taking care of my little girl. I have a bachelor's degree in Integrative Biology, and my husband and I met in an Anatomy class over a cadaver! Truly romantic. I come from a family of six children, five girls and one boy. My little brother is currently serving a mission in Chile.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong testimony of this gospel. I know that when I follow the commandments of God, I am happy. I have had too many experiences in my life to deny what I know to be true, that Jesus is the Christ. That He died so that I could one day return to live with my Heavenly Father. I know that family is a key component to happiness here in this life, and in the life to come. I am so grateful for the knowledge this gospel gives me, and that we have a living Prophet on the earth today who leads and guides us on the path of righteousness.

How I live my faith

Last year, my husband and I went to Ethiopia and did dental work for the people there through the non-profit organization Hope Arising. My husband is a dentist, and we wanted to make a difference in the world. There is so much need there, and we wanted to give back. This trip truly changed my life. We will be returning each year, in hopes of relieving some of the pain and suffering there. Locally, I am currently serving with the Primary children in my ward. I love serving the little children each Sunday, and trying to help them learn and grow in the gospel. They are so sweet, and their testimonies are so simple, yet I am touched each Sunday to see what wonderful examples they are to me. My husband and I try to serve in our ward and community.
