Hi I'm Steven

I work construction in Arizona. I'm a husband. I'm a dad. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Northern Arizona, went to Northern Arizona University and work in the construction field. I love my wife and kids, movies, books and I love sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a Mormon, but like everyone else I needed to know for myself that being a Mormon was right for me. I have prayed and my Father in Heaven has allowed me to feel that Jesus Christ is my Savior, The Book of Mormon is the word of God as is the Bible and Joseph Smith truly was a man chosen by God to be a prophet. I know that if I strive to live the commandments given be a loving Heavenly Father through prophets both ancient and modern that I will be able to live with Him and with my family forever. Family is what it's all about. I love my family and being a Mormon strengthens me and my family.

How I live my faith

I've been a full time missionary in Mexico. I've been involved in teaching kids from 4 to 17 years old. I help to keep track of the families in our area with my involvement in a church program called hometeaching where two men are assigned families to have a responsiblilty over with regard to caring for the family's spiritual and physical needs that they may have, including visiting with and sharing an uplifting message for each family. This could be helping someone move, taking them dinner during a hard time or after a baby is born, provide encouragement, help them learn better job finding skills, pulling weeds and many other opportunities to provide service.
