Hi I'm Ali

I'm a volleyball playin', Ph.D considering, country & hip-hop dancin' optimist. I'm single, I love the gospel and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an easy-going optimist & idealist. Never wanting to sit around & just let life pass, I love setting meaningful goals & living toward them: physical, spiritual, emotional, educational, etc. I live a purposeful, go get em' kind of lifestyle. I'm a "lover of learning" & how it broadens perspectives, educates hearts & enhances the quality of lives! I taught elementary grades 4-6 for 7 years. I'm currently an educational consultant & my dream is to develop character/principle-based learning resources for people of all ages. I am 31, single & I love my life. While optimistically looking forward to being with my BFF/Superhero Hubba, the Lord has blessed me by filling my life with great friends & family, a sense of purpose & His companionship. My idealized role model or "Superwoman" kind of figure would to be a classy lady as well as an athlete. Somewhat of a mix between a professional volleyball player & Audrey Hepburn. I love getting a great workout at the gym (an intense class, some cardio with weights or volleyball) while also loving home decor, a touch of classiness & femininity. I enjoy traveling whether it's to visit friends, learn at historical places, do service or just to play & relax. Life is great when spent with the people & purposes that mean the most to me. I love quality time & more meaningful conversation with friends who have positive attitudes & outlooks on life. Dancing, singing (I'm a rockstar in my car) & beautiful places are a few of my favorite things.

Why I am a Mormon

There is a kind of deep inner confidence, reassurance and peace that we experience when we know something and live by it. I know what I feel when I read the Book of Mormon, the Bible and when I pray sincerely. Having His teachings is a privilege, living by them is a choice - a choice that I am SO happy to be able to make! I am a member of Jesus' church because it brings joy into only my life, along with direction and clarified purpose. I am a member of His church, because it is precisely that, His Church; and through it, He provides me with guidance in my life and preparation for what will come after death.

How I live my faith

I'm always trying to improve personally, help meaningfully and influence positively.
