Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a Mormon, I grew up and still live in Colorado. I went to school at UCCS and love the outdoors.

About Me

I love the out doors. I hunt, fish, camp, hike, climb, ride motorcycles and spend the winters snow skiing. I have a beautiful wife and 4 awesome kids that enjoy participating in those activities with me. I attended school at UCCS and earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and then went on to earn a MBA in operations and project management. I am currently working as a Senior Project Manager for a large industrial construction company. I enjoy playing any sports and enjoy watching my Denver Broncos, even if they go 4 and 12. I also have a Yamaha FZ6 that my wife and I enjoy riding.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it is true. All of it from Joseph Smith to the Book of Mormon. In my life I have been deeply blessed by living the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Never has my career be hindered because I chose not to participate in activities contrary to the Lords commandments. I may have felt that way at the time but the Lord has always provided my with greater rewards and opportunities than those I thought I passed up. I am Mormon because I need to truly know my Savior, greater than just the Bible can provide. I need His attonning sacrifice in my life to have the confidence and peace I need to be a husband and father. I am Mormon because I need to understand the true nature of our Father in Heaven so that I may understand who I am and what I am capable of becoming in this life and the next.

How I live my faith

I serve in the Young Men's (YM) program of the Church. My duties are administrative in nature and I help the other youth leaders with the YM under their stewardship. I help administer the Boy Scout program and the Faith in God programs to the Wards. I help plan and execute activities for all the youth in Castle Rock and the surrounding areas. It is amazing to work with today's youth. They are vibrant and full of energy and optimism. Their faith in God and their obedience to the principles of the gospel is inspiring. They stand as a beacon of light in an ever dimming moral society that they deal with on a daily basis. I am truly blessed to be associated with these fine young men.
