Hi I'm Kathryn

I have been married for 23 years and have 7 children. I live in Arizona. I am a mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a stay at home mom with 7 children. I met and married my husband while at college. I love spending time with my family and going to see my kids in performances and games. I grew up in Salt Lake City Utah where I am the 5th child of 8. I loved being surrounded by my family and I have many wonderful memories of my childhood. I spent a lot of my youth outside and grew up at the base of the Wasatch mountains. Being in the mountains is one of my great loves. I spent my youth dancing and also danced throughout my college years. I am thrilled that I just put in a dance room in my house, so I can still enjoy dancing. I love raising my children in Gilbert Arizona. I love the warm weather and the wonderful people here. I am married to a very outgoing energectic husband, who has helped me enjoy various activities and opportunities that I would not have persued otherwise. He has been a great blessing to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a mormon. I have spent my life in the study of the mormon faith and the teachings therein. I have had countless experiences and opportunities that have increased and strengthened my faith. I know my Heavenly Father knows who I am and I know He loves me. He has answered my prayers time and time again. He even answers my unspoken prayers. Being active in my church has given me opportunities to mature and grow, find new talents and refined me as a child of God. My greatest happiness in life is to feel my Savior's love for me. I am happy with my life as a mormon. It gives me purpose and joy. It gives me the strength to do hard things and overcome challenges. I rely heavy upon my faith to assist me as a parent. As a mom, I want what is best for my children. I have come to know that the best gift I can give my children is the knowledge of who they are as children of God and what His plan is for them.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every single day. I want to be able to stand before the Lord one day and feel I have done the very best I can with the life He gave me. When I keep His commandments, blessings are always sent to me and my family. I love my Savior a great deal and feel a responsibility to Him to live my life in accordance with His teachings. I make decisions based on how my Savior would feel about those decisions. I use prayer and scripture study daily to help me with my decisions in life. I also use them to help me feel happy and at peace, even amongst trials and stress. I try to serve the best I can at any responsibility I am given. I have had the opportunity to teach children, youth and adults as a member of the church. This has been a surprising wonderful blessing. I would not have thought I could do this. It has given me much self confidence. I have felt the great love our Heavenly Father has for all of His children. As a mother, I try to surround my family with things that are uplifting, good, virtuous, valiant, happy, and kind. I want my home to be a place of great peace and happiness. I feel, as a mother, I have the power to do this. Even though my children see and hear a lot of negative and unclean things each day, I can provide them with just as much good and wholesome influences. I choose to find the opportunities in life that will help me and my family return and live with our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. This is my endevor in life and provided a journey for me and my family that is filled with surprisingly beautiful blessings.
