Hi I'm Frank

I'm a Mormon. I'm a retired general dentist, with woodturning as my hobby.

About Me

Since I've retired, I find myself more centered around my family. We love to visit our kids who are into adulthood with families. Grandkids especially are our main focus. My wife and I have been married for almost 50 years, both college graduates. All of our kids finally made it through college and it has enhanced their jobs alot. We have a very happy family at this point, just sorry that 3 of the 4 kids live many miles away.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from Mormon stock, my ancestors coming from England and Wales. They emigrated to the United States, made their way to Illinois, and joined the Mormon handcart companies. From there they made the pioneer trek to Salt Lake, Utah and settled with the Mormon's in Southern Idaho, and Northern Utah. They were a rugged stock, and have always been an inspiration to me to be that type of courageous person. They exemplified their religion, full of integrity, honesty, high moral standards, and loved their God. I have tried to emulate that in my life, and it has been a blessing. As a result, my family is a God-loving family, and we love the Savior, and accept His sacrifice for us, removing our everyday blunders, as we learn to repent. As did the pioneers, so do we.

How I live my faith

I am fully involved in our church and have been since a child. I have served in many leadership positions which are volunteer, including being a bishop (minister) for a congretation. Still at an older age now, I served in leadership positions, and am very committed to family history work (genealogy). I love my ancestors, and want to know more about them. Also being a substitute organist is one of my loves. Music brings me a spirit of calmness, and I enjoy playing at home by the hour sometimes.
