Hi I'm Sara

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sara and I am a convert to the Church. I was baptized in 2007 during my first year at college and my life has been drastically better ever since! I am currently working and in school to get my Masters Degree. However, let me get to the more exciting stuff and tell you about the things I love the most: I love: photography. brownies. the color purple. road trips. the beach. reading. harry potter. my puppies. going to the movies. being with my friends. scrap booking and crafting. sleeeeeeeping. funny things. The list goes on...but that's just a little preview! :)

Why I am a Mormon

Oh wow, why am I a Mormon?! Well why not, right?! :) Just kidding... I am a Mormon because I know it's right. I know it's true. I am a Mormon because I was taught about the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and I prayed about it. I came to know that it is true and I learned what Heavenly Father expects of me. He has asked me to follow the example of the Savior and be baptized. To keep His commandments and do His will. I am a Mormon because that is who I want to be. That is who Heavenly Father wants me to be. There is just so much to it and just written words can't do it justice. I'm a Mormon not because someone forced me to be one. I'm a Mormon not simply because it seemed like a fun thing to do at the time or because Mormon's were so interesting to me. I am a Mormon not because they bakes the most delicious treats or have amazing cook books. I am a Mormon because it is right. I am a Mormon because it is true.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith as often as possible. I work to serve my friends and family and other members of my ward. I live my faith by loving others and doing the best I can to bring happiness into their lives. In the past I have participated in several youth conferences during which I was given the opportunity to address young men and women of the church and share my experiences with them. I have shared my conversion story and testimony of the things I have come to know. I live my faith by being an example to my friends and family. I am the only Mormon in my family, so it is important for me to make sure they understand why I have chosen to be a member of this true church and why I live the way I do. The best way to do that is by living the things that I believe. I live my faith not only by preaching it, but by making sure it is a part of my life every single day. Sometimes living my faith can be difficult and trials come along. But it is in those moments that I find living my faith to be one of the most important things and one of the sure ways to get through my struggles.
