Hi I'm Shawn Anderson

I am a husband, a drummer, a student and teacher. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am 30 years old and have lived in Spokane for the last 6 years. I moved here from Las Vegas Nevada in 2005. I work at a music school as a drum instructor, play in a dance band around town and am also going to school as Spokane Falls Community College. I am also Recently Married. My Wife and I were married in the Spokane Washington Temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. Born to a mother and Father who were both active in the church, I was Baptized at the age of 8. All though being born in the church, over the years I have come to gain my own personal testimony of The Saviors church and have experienced the blessings first hand that come with membership in his church. In short, I am a Mormon because The Church of Jesus Christ is the Saviors church. It is true. It is lead by Apostles and Prophets who hold the same authority to lead and guide the church just as disciples of biblical times. Membership in this church is the only way I can return with my family to the presence of God.

How I live my faith

As Mentioned, I was born into this church and was active since I was born. At the age of 19, I served a mission for the church in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. There I taught the Gospel door to door and to all interested in learning more of our faith. Eventually those who asked God of it's truthfulness, received and answer and were Baptized and confirmed as members of the Saviors church themselves. Since my mission I have remained active in church serving several callings within my local congregation.
