Hi I'm Bev

I grew up in Shawnee Mission Kansas. Moved to Colorado in 1969. I enjoy helping kids have a safe and stable home. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a grandmother 4 children and 13 grandchildren. My husband and I have been married for 43 years. After 28 years of fostering children, (about 110) we have retired to the mountains of Colorado. We love watching the deer, birds and other of God's creatures each day.

Why I am a Mormon

In 1975 I found a gospel that I found followed all that I believed. In the church I grew up in, I knew there was more. Then in 1975 a neighbor showed me a new way of life. With each question I asked about raising kids she answered with "the church teaches...." I began to study more about the church and found a gospel that filled in what I was looking for. The love of the Lord has followed me through many trials. I would not be where I am today without his guidance and the love of his gospel.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly and find strength in fellow ward members. I serve in the women's group organizing the visiting Teaching program. This program oversee's that each woman in our ward has someone who visits and cares about them. This way we are aware of any needs in our ward. We each help each other, whether bringing in meals to those in need, to helping with transportation or just a visit to someone who is lonely.
