Hi I'm Dan

I live in Arizona, I love to spend time with my family and watch sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my beautiful wife since the late 90's and have 3 great kids. I love to spend time with my family. In my free time, I like to play video games with my kids and cook with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe it is what makes me and my family happy. Without the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I would not be as happy or fulfilled as I am today. I was born into the Church but I've also made the effort to find out for myself that the teachings of the Church are true. I am not someone who gives in to peer pressure or who does something just because someone has told me it is the right thing to do. I have a need to know things for myself. And that's part of the reason why I love the Gospel so much. I don't have to trust what someone else says. The Bible and Book of Mormon both say I can ask God, through prayer, what I should do and that He will answer my prayers. I have done that and have come to find for myself that what the Church teaches is true. The knowledge that I can be with my family after this life is a great comfort to me. The fact that I can receive my own inspiration from God is a huge help in my life. The ability to learn to be a better person each day is inspiring to me. That's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good person and serving where I am needed. I don't know that I have a lot of talents that are useful to others. But I can love the families that I am asked to visit each month. I can give a smile and a handshake to someone who seems to be a little down. I can give a helping hand to someone in my community who may need help - either financially or otherwise. I try to find ways to help lift people up, even if it is a short note letting them know why I appreciate them. I live my faith by trying to be a better person each day and by helping those people around me know that God loves them.
