Hi I'm Chuck Firmwalt

I was 25 years old when I was baptized a member of the church on November 7, 1970 in Alhambra California.

About Me

I am the father of four wonderful children. As a member of the church for the last 41years, I have found life to remain challenging but most rewarding as I live the commandments and keep covenants made with Heavenly Father. I have been retired from the City of Los Angeles for the last ten years. A year after retiring we moved from Oceanside, California to our present home in Arizona. We enjoy life with our grandchildren and greatgrandchilren. I enjoy outdoor activities and family history as hobbies along with church activities and service.

Why I am a Mormon

"The truth shall set you free" Life is never easy but when you know you are on a path determined by your Creator that will return you to Him and our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ for all eternity it makes life a wonderful but very brief journey.

How I live my faith

How is a matter of communication with Heavenly Father, our Savior Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. They provide us with four primary means of two-way communication with them. They provide us with ancient and current scriptures, prayer, prophets of old and modern day prophets, and the Gift of the Holy Ghost as a common denominator to show us the truth of all things. Once the Gift of the Holy Ghost has been received and opened our minds and hearts to the truth of the laws, principles, and life saving ordinances of the Gospel, we then decide to live by all of them or not.
