Hi I'm Julie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to my wonderful husband and mother to three children. I find joy in raising a family. I love to be with my husband and kids as much as possible. I also enjoy playing the piano, cooking, scrapbooking, making videos on the computer and finding good deals while shopping! Our family enjoys camping, playing games together, going to the water park, and roadtrips.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were Latter Day Saints. My parents were baptized into the church shortly after they were married. Although I was born and raised a Latter Day Saint, I still choose to live and follow the gospel of Jesus Christ. By being obedient to the commandments and living the gospel the best I can, I have found peace and joy in my life. The Lord blesses those who follow him. I have received personal witness that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. I have read the Book of Mormon and I have felt the burning in my heart that the things I have read are true. I believe and support our Prophet Thomas S. Monson. He is a man of God and leads our church, which in turns leads me on a path to the Lord. Without the knowlede of the gospel I would be lost. The church gives me direction and with the knowledge of the Plan of Happiness, I know why I'm here on Earth and what I'm supposed to be doing, and where I'm going when I leave this earth. I most of all am a believer of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He atoned for our sins and has made it possible to return to live with our Father In heaven when we leave this world. I love this gospel and I am so grateful to have it.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life in such a way that I can be an example of light and love to those around me. It's so hopefull to interact with others that are kind, loving, patient, and honest. I try my hardest to be that person. I serve in our church's primary organization, which is set up for the children of our church. I also volunteer in the community by helping out at my son's school, and helping out with my boy's soccer teams. My family holds a family night each week where we discuss a gospel principle and have an enjoyable time together. We also pray and read from the scriptures as a family. As a family we attend church each week. These things help us live our faith, and draw closer together as a family as well as draw nearer to the Lord.
