Hi I'm Andy

I'm a Mormon. I'm a trial attorney and a democrat.

About Me

I'm fifty-four years old, married for 32 years and the father of six, grandfather of seven, (almost eight).  I practiced for 23 years as a trial attorney in California. I enjoy hiking, philosphy, politics and anything to do with science.

Why I am a Mormon

I have investigated many other religions and philosophies. I have made a point of knowing the history and doctrine of my religion, mormonism. I am conviinced that only it contains God's complete plan for all His children on the Earth.

How I live my faith

My religion is not just a hobby. It has become part of who I am. The doctrine it imparts to me helps me live my life to have the most happiness I can.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Mormon lifestyle is a happy one. We believe that God gave us commandments to help us be happy. The more we live our lives in concert with God's plan for us the happier we will be in this life. Certainly we will all have illnesses, heartbreaks, and even tragedies in our lifetimes. We could not fully appreciate being happy if we were never sad. But God's plan for us gives the best way to experience happiness in this life and in the life to come. Sure, I don't drink or smoke. And, I am faithfull to my wife. I believe that these things, and other examples of God's plan, help me to be happier in this life. I am not missing anything worthwhile. My greatest happiness from my lifestyle comes from my relationship with my wife, my children and grandchildren and my relationship with God. Mormonism has enhanced each of these relationships so as to make them significant and sucessful. The Mormon lifestyle, lived corrrectly, is a happy lifestyle. Show more Show less
