Hi I'm Christine

I'm a fun mom. I love to camp and hike. I have a passion for cooking. I enjoy baseball games with my husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I grew up in the Military so my family and I moved over 10 times. Because of this I have lived all over the United States, meeting new people, seeing new places and experiencing new adventures. I have learned to quickly adapt to my surroundings. One thing that always stayed constant was the church. Every ward was welcoming and my family quickly settled in. Even though my life was always changing my parents encouraged me to be involved. I was able to learn the piano and violin and play on soccer, softball, track, volleyball and basketball teams. Even though I was busy I always went church, seminary, young womens and service projects. When I went away to College I quickly found my place in a new surrounding. A few years later I married a FUN guy that has made me happy the last 15 years. We now live each day, with our three children, always finding a new adventure. I love being a mom. I love the responsibilites I have of raising children in the gospel. Each week is filled with carpooling to school, volunteering at school, spending time with friends, carpooling to soccer and church activites, making dinner, serving others and planning with my husband what adventure we will take on the weekend. I love the adventurous life I have had and I can't wait for the many adventures ahead!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and I have always lived the gospel. But my testimony started to grow on my own when I was about 13. I started to see that when a person made good choices they usually were happy. This made me contimplate my own life. The next few years I continued to make good choices by praying to my Heavenly Father and staying close to my parents. Yes I made stupid decisions but I knew that there was happiness at the end of those bade choices. My testimony grew stronger with each experience of life. Today I can say that I am a happy person because of my strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love this church and I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

If it was not for the church I think that I would actually be bored. I love being involved with church. Currently I teach 17 and 18 year olds the New Testament each Sunday and I even work with our wards cub scouts. I have three girls and I never thought I would organize cub scouts. Throughout the years I have learned so many skills with being involved with the leadership of our church. I can plan an event and organize programs with no problem. The joy I have with being involved is great! With living the gospel I have the great opportunity of serving others. Right now I visit 5 ladies that I have become friends with. I can make a dinner if they need one, watch their kids, send flowers and make them a card when they are down. Each day at our house starts and ends with prayer. It's through this that we can make it through lifes challenges. I live each day through my faith and I am a happy person because of it.
