Hi I'm Tyler

Im on a mission in Minnesota and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Logandale Nevada. Im the 4th out of 5, I have two brothers and two sisters. I love to play sports, Football, Basketball, Baseball, Track, swimming. I like to go hunting, and be outdoors all the time. Im a firm believer in working hard and playing hard. Trying new things keeps life entertaining, so im always game to learn new stuff. I like to do anything that requires mechanics, and fixing. Im serving a two year mission right now and life is good. I love my family they are the center of my life, I would be lost without them. Family is what is most important, I thank my parents for there examples to all of us. Life is what you make it, so enjoy it.

Why I am a Mormon

Im a mormon because I want to be. I was raised up in the church and have always gone to church with my family. Growing up I could feel the love of the savior in my life and always wanted to serve god and others to make them happy. It wasnt until I was a teenager when I started to question what I believed and thought ofcourse that I knew everything. I finally hit a wall in my life, an was unhappy with who I was and how I treated others. I began to seek after the Atonement of Jesus Christ, to be forgiven of what I had done. I never prayed harder in my life then at those times. I felt an assuarnce and peace to my heart that I had never experinced before. I can bare you my witness that the Atonement of Christ is real. It has the power to flip your life around in a complete 360. The power of change is a wonderful gift from our loveing savior, that we can start a new and strive to be better each day. He suffered for me to understand what I would feel and go through. Shall I not return the favor to seek after him, to understand him? That is all he asks of us is to strive after his example , and repent or Change our mistakes and move forward. Im a mormon because it brings peace to my life, has blessed the lives of my family and friends, gives me assurance, and gives me the strength to endure life. Im a mormon because I want to be.

How I live my faith

I live my life I think like everyone else, One Step at a time. Im serving a 2 year mission right now in Minnesota. Its a great experince, I get to go out each day and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone I meet. As missionaires we come out on our own money that we have saved up. We leave every thing on the line so that we can give our full attention to the Lords work and the people we are serving. We can call or skype our families twice a year and the rest the time we can just e-mail them once a week. Its definently a faith builder to go out and preach what you know to be true and face adversity. Thats apart of life though, there is always opposition in all things. So rather than trying to avoid challenges and trials, I know that you must embrace them. I have learned in only this short little time that the gospel is the answer to all of those great life questions.
