Hi I'm Kelli

I grew up in the Midwestern U.S. and then I moved West. I'm a wife and a mom and I love to Swing dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of 3 (4, 3, and 18 months), and a stepmom of one (12 years). I am a stay-at-home mom, who is trying to figure out how best to raise my crazy kids. Fitting time to myself in is hard...but I believe vital, so whenever I can I read, sew, or knit...sometimes all in one day. Before my mommy days I loved to dance, I did ballroom and swing. I go occasionally now, it is an awesome stress reliever. I never knew being a parent could be so crazy, stressful, wonderful, and just plain hard. I can not do this alone. Friends, family, and God are vital.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. I have been an active member my whole life. But that doesn't mean I didn't make a choice. Ever since I was young I knew that this was the true church. Although there have been times as I grew where I doubted or had questions these were also growing points for me. I had to question in order to become stronger in what I knew to be true. This church has provided me with answers and guidance that I could find no where else. The Gospel has blessed my life termedously. This is the way to return to Heavenly Father; this is the way that I can be with my family forever; this is the way that I can have joy here on earth.

How I live my faith

When I was 22 I decided I wanted to serve a mission for my church. I served for 18 months in southern and central Ohio. This blessed my life and strengthened my testimony like no other thing could. Even today I rely on that strength. Now I am serving as a Cub Scout Den Leader. The boys are 8-9 years old and full of energy. I have been doing this for a couple of years. As part of our women's group I also go and visit three women in our church, once a month. I love these visits, I get a chance to get in some "girl time" and I am provided with opprotunities to serve others. As I talk with these women I can find out some of their trials and struggles and we can strengthen and uplift eachother.
