Hi I'm Nicholas Paleveda MBA JD LL.M

I'm a Mormon. I have over 1,000 relatives in Tampa my hometown. I am an Adjunct Professor at Northeastern University. Chessmaster.

I teach as an adjunct Professor at Northeastern University in Boston. I am also licensed to practice law before the Florida supreme court, the U.S. Tax Court, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. I have two children who live in NC and WA and 3 grandchildren along with a spouse who keeps me in line. I own a pension consulting company and operate the company over the internet in all 50 states. I am also the CEO of the company. I play basketball 5X a week and have played on the same trivia team with Ken Jennings. I have also played for the Washington State Chess team. I am also a member of International Infinity Society.

Why I am a Mormon

I aspire to the high standards taught by the church as the restored chuch on earth. The standards and teaching of the chuch date back to the early teachings of Christ. The standards and ethics are representative of the true chuch on earth today. The difference between the LDS church and other christian churches is that the LDS church believes that Christ did not abandon the people of the Americas and he was the Christ for all people. To understand this principal, you need to read the book of mormon. Many people think there are no other books then the Bible. This is not true, they need to look at the Apocrypha and the Gnostic Bibles to find there are other bibles which in greek is "biblia" which means small texts.

How I live my faith

I am active in the church as a High Priest Group Leader. I learn new things about myself and other people every day. No one is perfect and many days, I just thank the church for allowing me to be a member. It is good to see there is so much good in the world as many parts of this world is dominated by people who really do not care. If everyone lived these standards, the world would be quite different. The Church is a voluntary church which gives everyone an opportunity to make a contribution. The only way you can truely understand is to spend time with the members and see where they make a difference. However the real change will be inside yourself.
