Hi I'm Lorna

I grew up in Utah, moved to Arizona as a single Mom and after a successful career I am now a retired Grandmother and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in the thirties and have always been a Mormon. My Parents were not active but were wonderful people. I am a Mother of 4 and a Grandmother of 14. After 30 years of marriage I found myself a single mom and raising my 2 youngest children on my own. After a successful career I am now retired and enjoying my 14 Grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always believed in my heart that being a Mormon and having the church and its standards and teachings has helped me to be the person that I am now. I have always believed in Jesus Christ and his teachings. I am proud to be a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and so thankful for its teachings because I know in my heart that it is the True Church here upon the earth today.

How I live my faith

I have served in the church at various times in my life teaching the Gospel to young children, Planing activities for the Church and also taking part in the woman's organization as a visiting teacher and also as support to the leaders. I have also been in many of my ward families homes to visit or to offer a helping hand if I see that there is a need. My church has been a very important part of my life and has helped me to know that in living its teachings I will be able to be with God and his Son Jesus Christ at the end of my journey here on this earth.
