Hi I'm Megan

Born in Washington, lived most of my life in Oregon but now live in Arizona. In rain or shine, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be creative and spend most of my days trying to create a better life for those around me. Being the mother of five, it means most days are spent creating clean rooms and clean clothes and meals. But I usually am able to squeeze something else in. Sometimes is refinishing furniture, or sewing a quilt, or scrapbooking our family history. More than anything though I'm trying to create an eternal family.

Why I am a Mormon

I want to follow my Savior. I want to live with my Father in Heaven again. I want to be with my family forever. By living the gospel, I have found the tools to make those dreams possible. Every commandment our Father in Heaven has given us is only for our benefit. He loves us and wants us to be happy. True happiness comes from following our Savior. I want to be happy, and more than anything, I want my children to be happy. I know as we keep the commandments, no matter what storms come our way, we can have joy.

How I live my faith

I try to share with my children my testimony as we do our every day activities. I want them to know that my convictions are not a "Sunday" thing. I want them to know that I try to live every day by what I believe. As they see my husband and I serve in the church, in their schools, in the community, I hope they learn that we are doing this because we want to be more like the Savior. His life was filled with service and we too can become more like Him as we serve those around us.
