Hi I'm Treck

I an Arizonian, a husband, the father of five great sons, a general contractor, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a middle aged man who truly considers my wife and five sons the among the greatest gifts I have ever received. I love to spend time with my family. I love the outdoors, and we love to camp, fish and hunt as a family. I am a sports fanatic and I like to mix family and sports by coaching my sons football and baseball teams. I love to vacation with my family and experience different things with them. I have a college degree, but still desire to further my education at some point. I have a dream to write a book that would help others in there lives. I am a General Contractor and love to make peoples idea's and dreams come true. Most important I love my Heavenly Father, and am very grateful for the life he has given me to live and enjoy.

Why I am a Mormon

Although being born into a Mormon family and raised in the church, I had my share of obstacles growing up. Both of my parents were members, but my early recollections of being active in the church were few. My parents divorced when I was six years old. My mother remarried a non-member, and we didn’t go to church very often. Still being pretty young, I always felt that something was missing. My mom divorced again and soon re-married my real dad, they are still together today. This wonderful turn of events brought the gospel back into my life. My mother is my hero, with the testimonial support of my father but often on her own, she walked with us into the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Growing up I made some good decisions and some bad, but the gospel always brought happiness into my life. I decided to serve a mission for the church and that short period of time, thousands of miles away in South Africa, changed the course of my entire life. It was then that I learned what God and Jesus Christ were all about, and that is Love. I learned to Love Them, myself, and more important others. Because of those experiences, I came home a changed person and wanted to surround myself with people that felt the same way. I married a daughter of my Heavenly Father that knew Him and together we started a family that reflected what he had taught and blessed us with. That was over twenty two years ago, and I know even more so today that God is real, that He lives. He prepared a plan for us to live by here on the earth, a plan of happiness. Part of the plan was to provide us with a Savior, Jesus Christ, to prepare the way for us to return home to his presence. Because of his love for us he has once again restore his gospel to the earth through a young boy Joseph Smith, who became the Prophet to lead the gospel into this day and age, and we have a prophet on the earth today who leads and guides us through revelation from Jesus Christ. This is Christ's church and it brings happiness to the world.

How I live my faith

This gospel brings so much happiness to my life. I love the relationships that I have developed with God and Jesus Christ. They are the foundation of my life. Because of what I have learned, I am a better Husband, a better Father, a better Friend, and a better member of my community. Together, with the other members of our ward,(local area of the church), and families, we strive to help each other carry our burdens, ease our pains, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort. I am blessed with the opportunity to serve as the Bishop of our ward, and this gives me the chance to interact with all of the members, and serve them. I get to spend a lot of time with the youth and council with them as well as listen to them and learn from them. I have five terrific sons. I want to be a good father for them, I want to help them be strong in today's day and age. Being able to learn from the youth groups of the church helps me so much. My family and I have the support of two great people that we call home teachers. Every month they come over to check in on us and share a gospel message, this is such a strength to us. I have the opportunity to go and do the same for several other families with two of my own sons. This give me time with them, to teach them and to help them learn what the spirit of Jesus Christ feels like in a real sense as we serve others. We have many activities in the church outside of our Sunday meetings, that are there to help us build unity and friendships. Activities like, giant slip and slides, Halloween trunk or treat, and ice cream fun nights. I wish I could help all understand the joy that has come into my life as I have gotten to know my Savior, and then tried to be like him through example, through service, and through love. This is a joyous time we live in and yet a very hard time we live in, and the church helps me understand that we can return home to our Heavenly Father by helping each other, and having fun while we do it.
