Hi I'm Austin

I grew up in Southern California. I have a wife and 3 children that I cherish, love and live for and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband to my beautiful wife and a father to three awesome kids; two boys and a sweet little girl. I married my best friend, whom truly completes me. I enjoy spending every minute I can with my family. They mean the world to me. I have my bachelors degree in exercise and sports science and work in the physical therapy world. I love sports! I love playing and watching, either way works for me. My wife makes fun of me because it doesn't matter if it is pee-wee, high school or on professional level event, I could watch it with little hesitation.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, as my father joined the church when he was 17. He was introduced to the church through my mother's example of good standards and values. As a child I loved going to church and loved the principles and values it taught me. At a young age I knew the gospel was true and knew the Savior died for me but it wasn't until high school I truly developed my own testimony, faith and love for the gospel and for our Savior. I had a great group of friends who lived great standards but were not of my same faith. This allowed for a lot of discussion about why I lived the way I did and answer many questions related to the gospel. I know, through lots of prayers and experiences, that our Heavenly Father loves me! The Bible and The Book of Mormon work hand in hand to testify of the divinity of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying everyday to be more and more like our Savior. I strive to serve and treat everyone around me as if they are family. I try to reach out and develop this type of behavior with the youth in my neighborhood. I enjoy working with the youth. I have coached my son in soccer and T-ball for the past 2 years. I also work as an Assistant Scout Master in the Boy Scouts of America program. Working with the scouts, as well as with the sporting programs, I try to teach life lessons as they learn specific skills with each activity.
