Hi I'm Rob

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father, a husband and a brother. I love to ride motorcycles, play basketball and softball, but most of all I love spending time with my little family. I served a mission in Brazil and still speak a little Portuguese. I work as an IS Manager and manage a small network as well as a small staff for a non-profit Biotech. I am a brother to 7 siblings and 38 nieces and nephews. I love having a large family.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I have been attending The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all of my life I have had plenty of opportunities to test my faith and I always come back to the same conclusion and that is I know it’s true. I lost a very good friend to a heart attack, a sister-in-law to a stroke, my mother to cancer and my father to a serious infection. These and other experiences have only served to strengthen my belief in God and helped me to know there is a plan. I look forward to the time when I can be reunited with my friends and family once again. Every day I wake up and I thank Heavenly Father for the wife and son that I have been blessed with. There is nothing that has brought me closer to my Father in Heaven then having a family. I would not understand these principles and have the hope and faith that I do if I was not a member of this church. I know who I am, where I am going and what I need to get there.

How I live my faith

I know that I do not live perfectly, but I do try to live everyday better than the last. To me it’s important to love everyone even if their choices do not always reflect my ideal values. I look for someone that I can help every day without reward. If I make someone’s day better then I’ve done my job. I don’t expect that I will impact millions, but if I can help that one person that really needs it then I’m ok with that.
