Hi I'm Jordan

Born in New Zealand, Lived in Australia, now serving a mission in the United States- West Virginia.

About Me

I was born and riased in New Zealand and spent the last few years living in Australia working with pre-school aged children. I am now in the united states for the next 18 months serving a mission in the Charleston, West Virginia mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Like everyone I came to that point in my life where I wondered what my purpose was in life. Not finding true happiness through worldly things I turned to the Savior and as I read the Book of Mormon My faith was strengthened and my joy became more real. Feeling such love and happiness from the book of mormon I developed an increased desire to share it with others. If we turn our lives over to the Lord, he will make more out of our lives than what we can. I knew I couldn't reach my full potential in life without the help of the savior. I know who I am. I know why I'm here and where I'm going. knowing those things has changed my whole outlook on life. Being a member of christ's true church; The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints has brought such joy, peace and comfort to my life. It is a joy I want to share with everyone, it is a joy we can all have. Now I am sharing this wonderful message of the Gospel with the people of West Virginia. It has been amazing to see people's live change for the better as they come to accept Christ as their savior and be baptised into his true church. There is nothing better I can be doing in this world than to be bringing lost sheep into the fold. The truth of God shall go forth boldy, nobly and independent until it has penetrated every continent. If ye have desires to serve god, ye are called to the work.

How I live my faith

The Lord has told us that there are 2 ways we can show our love for him: 1. If ye love me keep my commandments 2. lovest thou me? Feed my sheep I strive to do both of those things every day for the rest of my life.

Are Mormons Christians?

That is a question I hear a lot since being a missionary. Something I like to point out to those people who ask me that is, along with my name who else's name is written on my name badge, Jesus Christ. This is the church Of Jesus Christ. We believe in Christ, We preach of Christ, We rejoice in Christ. Yes Mormon's are definitely Christians. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

We know that families can be together forever. That is why temple marriages are so important because when we are married in the temple we are not married "til death do you part' but we are married to our spouse for all time and eternity. we know that family relationships continue beyond the grave. Knowing this makes it easier to leave my family in Australia and come half way around the world to share this message with others because although I may be half a world away from my family I know that I will be with them together again whether in this life or the next.
