Hi I'm Loree

I'm a mother of 3, a swimmer, a cyclist, I adore decor & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Arizona native. I was raised by two amazing parents who loved me and helped me to become who I am today. I am married to the man of my dreams and my best friend. Together, we have 3 great kids. I am blessed to be a stay at home mom. I love my job and this is what I always wanted to do. I am not only a mom, I am a friend, a swimmer, a cyclist, and an novice triathlete. I love to feel the wind on my skin as I ride mile after mile on my bike. I love living on this beautiful earth that God has created for me to enjoy and take care of. I like to challenge myself and do hard things. I love to decorate, create and beautify my home & keep it clean. Being a Mormon is who I am & brings me the most joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a strong LDS family. I have always known in my heart this church was true. I know that God lives and that he loves us and knows us personally. He hears our prayers and answers them. I know that He gave his only begotten son, Jesus Christ to atone for our mistakes in life and that it is only through Jesus Christ we can return to our Heavenly Father. I know that the Holy Ghost is real and that He testifies truth of this gospel of Jesus Christ. I have felt the love, comfort and peace of the Holy Ghost as I have prayed and seek the Lord's guidance in my life. These truths have brought me peace and happiness in my life. I'm a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I want to follow Him. He has blessed me with so much. I am forever grateful.

How I live my faith

I wake up each day knowing our life is a gift from God. Being a Mormon is just who I am, it's not just a Sunday thing. I have had many opportunities to serve in many callings over the years. I have been strengthened, challenged and have grown as I serve in my church and community. I have got to serve with the Young Women in my area, I have helped plan and organize summer girls camp activities where these young women get to know their divine heritage and destiny as daughters of God. I have served with many amazing women, youth leaders and together we have loved and helped these beautiful young women learn & gained their own testimonies of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Currently I get to teach a class of children 7 years old turning 8. Each week we teach them how much Heavenly Father Loves them and help prepare these little ones for baptism. I get to attend their baptisms every month. I think they teach me more about faith and love and obedience than I am teaching them. I love these kids and they bring such joy to my life Not only am I a teacher on Sunday to a group of kiddos but I am a mother of 3. I am a teacher everyday. I strive to share my love of gospel & my testimony to my family by reading the scriptures and praying together each day. I love to serve them and help them to know who they are, where they came from and we each have a purpose on earth. God knows each of us and is there willing to help guide our path if we choose to follow him and obey his commandments.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Loree
A testimony is a sure witness of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is obtained by revelation through the Holy Ghost. It is the knowledge that Heavenly Father lives, knows us personally and that he loves us. That Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he atoned for our sins and made it possible for each one of us to repent. That Joseph Smith is a prophet and was called by God to restore Jesus Christ's church to the earth. We are led today by a living prophet who leads and guides us and talks with God. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Savior's Church restored on earth today. Everyone who is willing to keep the commandments, has a righteous desire and exercises faith, has the capacity to gain their own personal testimony. Show more Show less
