Hi I'm Brock Booher

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First and foremost I am a husband and a father, and those two roles in life occupy the majority of my life’s time, emotion, and effort. I struggle to fulfill each of those roles to the best of my ability, but usually fall short of where I should, and want to be. I enjoy a comfortable life because of my career as a commercial pilot, but I seek more to life than mere comfort. I like to run, boating, traveling, scuba diving, and just about anything adventurous and exciting.

Why I am a Mormon

At some point in life everyone faces a decision – Do I believe what I have been taught? I faced that decision as a youth. I had been taught many things, but I didn’t know for myself. I’m a Mormon because I took the time to really study and ponder the things I had been taught. Through prayer, I was able to gain a spiritual testimony of the things I was taught. I am still a Mormon because that original testimony continues to grow line up line as I seek answers to life’s questions.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through my actions of kindness, charity, and service. I attempt to stand up and speak up for my values without being judgmental or pious. I defend the standards of my faith, even though I am still imperfect in my attempt to live them fully. In all actions I remind myself that I am trying to be like Jesus Christ.
