Hi I'm Laura

I celebrated 42 years of marriage. We are now retired and enjoy playing with our grandchildren. I am a mormon

About Me

I graduated from college with a BS degree. My husband and I have run a business together for 20 years. When my children were in school I spent time voluntering in the schools and working in the PTO. I still look for opportunities to serve, but fine most of my service is given to my family. I love to spend time with my grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight years old. In my teenage years I did a lot of soul searching and studying to gain a personal testimony of the Mormon Church. I grew up in the South and there were many challenges at that time to members of the church. I know the Book of Mormon is scripture and is a companion book of scripture to the Bible. I am grateful for the values that the Church teaches us and the help and strength it gives to my family. I also know that God loves me and answers my prayers.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon is a way of life. I work hard at practicing the the things I learn on Sunday. I have worked in both the adult and youth organizations of our church. I have spent time serving in my community. My husband and I spent two years serving our church in S. Korea. We are taught the importance of families and My husband and I spend as much time as we can with our children and grandchildren. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ, because it teaches me how to be a better person.
