Hi I'm Janelle

I'm from Idaho. I love traveling, reading, and going to baseball games, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After graduating from high school in Idaho, I pursued a higher education and have graduated with a degree in Public Health. I am passionate about helping others to live longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. I've been married for over two years now and we are expecting our first baby in just two months! I love reading books and watching good movies. I've always loved traveling and hope to see the world before I die. I love spending time with my family. They are what brings joy to my life. A few years ago, my family started going on "baseball trips" where we travel around the country and hit as many major league baseball games/stadiums as we can. We all love baseball and I think few things in life are as beautiful as a freshly-mowed, green baseball diamond surrounded by red dirt. My husband loves baseball too. We played catch on our first date:) We are currently living in Hawaii while my husband finishes his undergrad and we love the sunshine and beautiful beaches.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Mormon church has made me who I am today. My personal relationships with my Savior and my loving Heavenly Father give me perspective and hope in this life. I know who I am, where I came from and where I am going. I know that I will be with my family forever. I know that life does not end when we die and I will again be with my family and friends who have passed on. I know that I can be married to my wonderful husband for all eternity. I know that my children will always be mine. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know me by name and love me more than I can even imagine. I want to live faithfully and worthily so that I might one day be able to return to live with them and with my family. By living the standards set forth by the prophets of the church, my life has been filled with joy. I feel loved and respected in my role as a woman, wife, and mother. I have been taught firm foundations and principles which help me to maintain love and peace in my home and in all areas of my life. I love that we have a modern-day prophet who is the Lord's mouthpiece on the earth. I feel a sense of protection and security knowing that the Lord has not stopped communicating with His children on the earth today. He is lovingly watching over us and pushing us to succeed and live righteously so we can return to Him. The gospel has brought me so much happiness and joy; it 's undeniable. And I want to share that joy with others.

How I live my faith

I am privileged to work with the youngest members of the Mormon church. Each Sunday, I get to teach the children about Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the most basic principles of the gospel (prayer, obedience, kindness, etc.). Also each month, I have the opportunity to visit with assigned women in my ward. I meet with them, share a gospel message, and make sure that their temporal and spiritual needs are being met. I enjoy this time to strengthen friendships and ensure that these daughters of God and their families are taken care of. I also live my faith through my daily actions. I strive to be an example of a follower of Christ at work and in all other areas of my life. I try to live and treat others as Christ would.
