Hi I'm Jessica

I'm an RN, a Mom, and a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an active Mom of three boys, and the wife of a hard working and ambitious husband. I attended college and am a Registered Nurse. I love to read fiction, although I have been getting into some nonfiction lately, thanks to my husband's prodding. I like to sew and have recently discovered all the awesome blogs with free tutorials. Scrapbooking is fun when I have time, but keeping up with boys is hard work!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family, and chose to be baptized at the age of eight. As a teenager, watching friends make different choices than me helped me realize the great blessing of being a member of this church. Although I am not perfect and have made plenty of mistakes, I know that the teachings of this church (Christ's teachings) are true and that we will be happy and blessed following Him. I have felt confirmation of that many times and that gives me hope that whatever adversity happens in this life can be overcome.

How I live my faith

As a stay at home mom, one of the most important ways I live my faith is to teach my children. At church I teach the six and seven year old kids weekly, at times my patience is tested but I am always learning from them. I am blessed to be able to visit 4 other women in my ward monthly to have friendships where we can talk about anything, including Christ and his teachings. They often help me to become a better person even though I am technically supposed to be teaching them!
