Hi I'm Rob

I grew up in Washington State. I am a designer in the print industry and proud to say I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a print designer for a printing company. I have always wanted to pursue my talent in art and found I can support my family in the printing industry. I am also a freelance designer from home. I am married to my wonderful soul mate and look forward in spending forever with her. We are a mix and match family, I have two from a previous marriage and she has three from her previous marriage. All the kids are now adults experiencing life, some with the same vigor as I did. I ride a Harley with my wife, Tina and my Papillon, Virus, that's him in the profile picture. I am a jokester, and sometimes have a hard time quieting down, that's when my wife helps me out by giving me the quiet little shhhh or the lets get back to the story you were telling. I love to talk and tell stories, in fact all my teachers used to write that on my report cards. I like telling stories of the mistakes I've made so that others may know that people can rise above them. I love my life! I am truly blessed!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 16 I fell away from the gospel centered life and became very worldly. Although I was very ashamed of my actions I didn't want to change and seemed to be to far from my Heavenly Father to be able to be found. When I turned 40, my midlife crisis was how do I find GOD after all I have done. One morning after a several day binge on my way to work I whispered my first prayer from my lips in 20 years, as soon as the word Father came from my mouth my entire body was enveloped in a huge hug, I broke down emotionally and pulled over. I could not believe that my Father in Heaven was there in an instant (I would have a hard time believing it if it didn't happen to me). That was 5 years ago, the road was long, my family left me for that choice. I had to pay the price for many of the things I had done while living my worldly ways. I am now married for all time to my soul mate, I have served in several callings in my ward, I am currently serving as the President of the men's group, as well as helping in the churches Recovery from Addictions program. I cant believe I am where I am today but I can testify that My Father in Heaven hugged me 5 years ago just as a father would a hurt child, he bandaged me up and Christ gave me strength to battle my demons. And now I can tell others to utter that first prayer, call on you Father in Heaven and let him hold you until you are healed. It works and it will save your life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is true, the book of Mormon is a true and accurate testament of Jesus Christ and by no other book will you get closer to him then by following it's principles. I love the Gospel, I am sorry I didn't live it earlier in life, I would have been able to avoid some horrible actions, but because of the atonement I can now feel whole again and worthy to feel my Fathers hugs. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I have had a few marriages that have failed because of my lack of respect for myself as well as my spouse and have come to the conclusion that life or a marriage without God was like driving on ice on bald tires, I did it when I was younger, but I'm wise enough now not to do it at all with out be being fully prepaired
