Hi I'm Scott

I’m a husband, father and love high adventure activities. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Scott and my greatest joy in life is my family. I married my best friend and love to spend as much time with her as possible. My children are the pride of my life, they bring me greater joy than I could ever imagine and drive me crazy at the same time. As a family, we love to be active, wakeboard, snow ski, ATV’s and anything else that we can do together. I have always looked for unique and different things to do, such as ride unicycles, skydive, bungee jumping and anything else I can find that is a new adventure. I am fortunate to have been able to pay for my college education through a diving scholarship. I love to laugh and try not to take myself too serious.

Why I am a Mormon

I find myself to be very blessed for having the privilege of being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I grew up as a member of the church, however like all members; I had to decide for myself whether or not it is true. There is not any one moment in time when I knew that the Church was true, I guess I always knew it was, but many great and challenging experiences throughout my life have reaffirmed to me that this is the true church of our Savior. The Church allows me to see life in an eternal perspective. This understanding of why we are here and where we are going after this life helps me keep a positive outlook even through the most challenging times. It is not easy being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but it is truly worth the effort.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by example. I want my friends and associates to know that Christ is the most important person in my life. Being a member of Christ’s church for me is a way of life, not just a meeting on Sunday. I try to live His teachings in every aspect of my life, whether that is family, work, recreational activities or anything else. Service to others is a big part of living my faith by example. I have been asked to be involved in the leadership of our congregation (ward) and as such I give much of my time on Sunday and throughout the week to the service of those in the ward. I feel that it is a blessing to be able to serve the Lord through assisting his children here on earth with their needs, spiritual or temporal.
