Hi I'm Nikki

I am a wife and mother with 5 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to run for exercise. I love watching sports, especially when I know who's playing. You can find me in the concession stands at the high school football and basketball games on Friday nights.

Why I am a Mormon

As a mother of 5 children I am especially motivated to look for guides to help raise my children to be good, kind and successful people. Many times I have prayed to Heavenly Father for guidance in my life and it is in the times of prayer, scripture reading and church attendance that I have felt the reassurance of our Heavenly Father. Assurance that He is there and He loves me and wants good for me and my family. It is in those times that I have come to know that Jesus is our Savior. Our Heavenly Father knew that we would make mistakes so He had his son come to earth and die on the cross, so that we can repent and be resurrected and live eternally with our Father in Heaven. I know that I am a child of God and He has given us many things to help and guide us on earth. I know that the bible and the Book of Mormon are true and we have them as our "map" here on earth. I know that families can be together forever, if we make good choices. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet today. I know that if I choose the right I can live with Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

We read scriptures as a family. We have a "family night" once a week on Monday nights to sing, pray, learn and share a yummy treat together. We go to church together every Sunday. I teach the youngest children 18 months to 3 years old at church. It's amazing to watch them learn songs and simple scripture stories while they are having fun.
