Hi I'm Amy

I am a soccer mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a great man and love being a mom to four great kids. I worked as a Pediatric nurse for many years and I know enjoy staying at home with my kids and finding ways to help in the school and neighborhood. I love to garden, sew, exercise, cook, and work on projects. I love to read with my children and do fun things with them including sports and hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and watched my parents love and serve others. When I was a youth I wanted to know for myself that this was God's true church. I prayed and as I did so, I felt a warmth and confirming witness that this was indeed God's church. Following my parents example I have found purpose and meaning in life as I reach out to others and help and lift their burdens. My life is blessed as I serve and help others.

How I live my faith

I am able to serve the Lord by teaching my children from the scriptures (The Bible and Book of Mormon), praying with them and helping them understand that they are children of God and that He will help them if they will but turn to him and ask. I also serve the women of my ward by planning monthly activities that teach us how to be better women, mothers, wives, and neighbors. We enjoy each other's company and strengthen each other as we do service for one another and for those in the community.
