Hi I'm Dale A. Macpherson

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 33 years. I am a father of seven children and grandfather of eleven. The greatest accomplishment or title I can ever have is Father. My family is my greatest joy. I served in the United States Army for 25 years, primarily as an Attack Helicopter pilot and now work building attack helicopters...the best job in the world! I am currently enrolled at Arizona State University in the Executive MBA program. I love my family, fast cars, custom motorcycles, painting and life!

Why I am a Mormon

Because it simply makes sense! I was blessed to be influenced by members of the church as a young adult. In my youth I attended many churches, but none could answer my simple questions. I would ask things like; Where did I come from? Why do babies need to be baptized? What happens to families in Heaven? If our Father is a loving God, why is there so much pain and suffering in the world? I was astonished that my simple questions could not be answered to my satisfaction in the other religons I investigated. Simply put, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints answered these questions and more. I was baptized in February 1977 and have continued to learn about the Gospel everyday since. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has changed my live for the good, I see evidence of that each and every day I live.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through worshiping my Heavenly Father through study, prayer, pondering, learning and living the best I can. I have served in many capacities in the Church as a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, Boy Scout Leader and in various Priesthood Leadership positions. I try to live my life in accordance with Jesus Christ's teachings in demonstrating Hope, Faith and Charity as I understand them and to the best of my ability. And while I sometimes fail, I know as long as I do my best to correct my failures, continue to try and rely on the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, all will be well. While I am still learning, I try to be the best Husband, Father and Grandfather that I can be. I hope to endure all things and live the principles of the Gospel I know to be true until the end.
