Hi I'm Randy

I work as a project manager at a non profit organization. I am a ham radio operator. I volunteer as an EMT.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 3 wonderful children. My daughter is away from home now starting her own life. I have two sons. My oldest son just finished his eagle project and I am trying to keep the second enthused about his. I have a wonderful wife who puts up with me. I love to do things in the outdoor, but I never seem to do anything. We live in the mountians so I feel like I am on a permanet vacation. I hunt and fish but mostly I like to ride atvs. I also enjoy ham radio and look to get more into it. I also volunteer as an EMT to give back to my community.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church all my life, but my conversion began at 12 when I decided to go back to church. I know this is Christ's true church. I go about doing what I know to be right and I live my religion as Christian as I do believe in Christ. I do not put on any airs or consider myself better than anyone. I served a mission in Uruguay, South America. I know God and Jesus Christ live, I know the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and that a prophet and apostles lead and guide His church on this earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living it's teachings. I help others whenever I can and I expect nothing in return. I do not feel that anyone needs to know the specific acts I or my family have done for others. I don't do those things to be seen of men but because that is what the gospel is all about. Helping those that I can with what God has given me. I teach sunday school for young adults on Sunday. I also helped start a Scout Troop in my community to provide the boys something to do besides get into trouble. I also volunteer as an EMT because it is a way I can help my community and I didn't want to be a firefighter. I can help those in need who can't help themselves in that way.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Randy
First and foremost the family is the basic unit of the church and community. We believe that families can be together forever, that marriage does not end with the death of a spouse. Being married by the proper authority, our families will exist as a unit even after death. Show more Show less
