Hi I'm Brian

I grew up in Utah. I am a construction Manager for a local construction company. I am married with two kids!!! I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a father of two little girls. Our girls are mine and my wife's life!!!! They are so sweet and bring so much joy to our lives. We spend a lot of time praying to our father in heaven for guidance with our children. Our family spends a lot of time at the lake wake boarding, skiing and swimming. I definitely look forward to spending time with my girls on the weekends, watching life for the first time again through there eyes.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 20 years old I was struggling with the decision to serve an LDS mission or not. I was raised in a family where my father was not a member and my mother was. So the thought of me serving a mission was not a welcome subject for conversation around our home at that time. But as I made my decision to serve our Heavenly Father, my father’s heart softened. Although my father is still not a member of the church he often says, "Serving a mission was the best thing you could have ever done with your life!" My testimony was gained, or realized on my mission. Serving a mission was so great for me in the sense that not only was I able to bring the gospel to others but I was also able to bring it to my own life. I love the fact that I learned how to recognize how the Holy Ghost testifies of the truth! The feeling never changes. And once I learned to recognize that feeling I was able to know when I was on the right path in my life! I love the gospel, I love our Savior and I love the feeling of the spirit testifying to me that what I am reading, saying or doing is right. I know this church is true, I know the Book of Mormon is a book of scripture written for our time. I know that by small and simple things such as praying daily, reading the Bible and the Book of Mormon, by doing simple acts of kindness we can be happy and feel the love of the Savior in our lives. I also know that it works both ways, and as I stop reading the scriptures and praying to my father in heaven life is just harder. I know that our Savior wants us to be happy and has a plan for us. I know that our Savior died for us, and that through Him we can live with our father in heaven again. I also know that we can be together with our families forever! That is the good news of the gospel!!!

How I live my faith

My wife and I are very lucky!!! We have the opportunity to serve in the Sunday school with the seven year olds. They are amazing. No matter how much we prepare they always blow us out of the water. It’s amazing what these young children retain. We have 11 kids in our class. They are crack ups. It is such a good feeling to be a part of teaching the gospel. Our testimonies are strengthened every week as we testify of the gospel.
