Hi I'm Wendy

I'm a Mormon. I'm a wife, mother to 4, wanna-be chef, student and lover of chocolate.

About Me

I recently went back to school, pursuing a nursing degree. I love to serve others and feel I could use my talents in this capacity, as well as help my famiy. I enjoy a good work-out and have developed a love for running, almost a much as I love to enjoy a good meal. I enjoy watching my children participate in sports. I love long family walks, movie nights and playing card games. I find my inspiration from my family and friend.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born, my parents and their families were members of our church. I was baptized at age 8. I gained a testimony of my own through our church's young women's program, seminary program during high school, going to girls camp and atending youth camps at BYU in the summer. I have always known that I am a child of God, and that he had a specific plan for me. My pioneer hertiage is one I hope to live up to!

How I live my faith

I have had the wonderful opportunity to serve in our church in many capacities. When my husband and I were newly-weds, we taught the 16 year old Sunday School class. I've served as a secretary in the Primary, Advisor in Young Women's (girls organizatio ages 12-18), teacher and activity director in the Relief Society (the women's organization), and Primary Teacher. Additionally, I have also been a visiting teacher. This has been a wonderful blessing thoughout my adult life thus far. I have gained life-long friends among sisters I have visited as well as sisters that have visited me in my home every month. I have gained ten-fold whatever it was that I gave each time I have served. Our church is about service, and through service, we become closer to Christ.
