Hi I'm Rich

I'm an ASU Sun Devil fan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 4 kids -- one boy and three girls. I have a Master's Degree in Computer Science. I enjoy reading, playing video games, watching football, and being with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight years old into this church. I always assumed that it was the true faith. It always just made sense to me. It wasn't until I was 18 or 19 that I really decided that I wanted to know for sure that it is the truth. I studied the Book of Mormon, prayed, and continued in my faith. As I did (and do) so, things just felt right. I feel at peace when I do what the Lord would have me do. I feel guidance in my life as I seek out the guidance of the Holy Ghost. My family and I have been greatly blessed.

How I live my faith

I teach the 15-16 year old kids at church each Sunday. I've only been doing this for a few weeks, but I enjoy it a lot. Right now we are studying the New Testament. I'm amazed at how much some of them know already! They are great kids. Day to day I try to do what I've been taught to do. Our family prays together and reads the scriptures each night. Each Monday night we try to spend time together as a family. Sometimes this means just having a short lesson and talking about the week. Other times we will play games or do something similar.
