Hi I'm Kim

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and aunt. I have seven wonderful children, a great daughter-in-law, and 2 beautiful granddaughters. I love serving in the Church. I enjoy sewing, crocheting, and cross stitching. I love to read and I work as a library assistant in an elementary school.

Why I am a Mormon

During high school I was dating a young man who was a member of the Church. After we graduated and continued dating, we talked about getting married. He did not want to attend my church so I began attending the LDS Church. Soon I was taking the missionary discussions. After the first discussion, I was given a pamphlet of the Joseph Smith story. I took it home and began reading. Soon I felt a wonderful feeling come over me that this was true. I was baptized shortly thereafter. I went on to serve a mission and married in the temple shortly after returning home from that mission. I have been a member for 37 years and it has been one of the best decisions that I have ever made. This is the true Church of Jesus Christ here on the earth. It was restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith. The Book of Mormon is true. The Church has been a truly wonderful blessing in my life.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings during my years in the Church. I am a visiting teacher. My companion and I visit our sisters each month and are able to share the gospel with them through the messages that we have in our Church magazine, "The Ensign." I am currently serving as a counselor in the Stake Young Women's Organization. It is wonderful to work with the young women 12-18 and to see their enthusiasm for the gospel. I love serving in the Church. It is a privilege to be able to teach others and to learn from them also.
