Hi I'm Steve

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Florida and I work as a Hospice Social Worker.

About Me

I was born in Hollywood, Florida and lived in many states but eventually in my teen years ended up in Utah and I currently live in Arizona. I love to hike and camp. One of my favorite past times that I started when I was 12 with my parents was looking for Indian Petroglyphs and Dwellings. I love to play the piano, photography, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church and converted when I was 17. During my teens years I had a yearing to find a church and get answer about God and Jesus Christ. No one in my family really were church going people but most had a belief in God. I read the Bible seeking answers, went to many churchs, asked questions and found many of the answers confusing. My family moved to Utah when I was 12 and ran from the Mormon faith for many years. Once I went to chuch with a mormom friend when spending the night at his home and was introducted to Joseph Smith and his first vision. I felt the spirt so strong and one of my biggest questions was answered about Heavenly Father and Jesus Chirst Being two seperate being with tanagable bodies. Once I started reading the Book of Mormon it helped clarify what I was reading in the bible and it helped me gain a clarity of things that I had questions on for years. I learned the Book Of Mormon to be a testimony of Jesus Christ and every time I read from it I feel the spirt of the lord.

How I live my faith

I live my faith my taking day to day practicing my faith my adding into my life prayer, scripture reading, doing my calling, attending my meetings, and making my family and Jesus Christ the center of my life. Every day I am perfect at this and make many mistakes and that is what is so great about the gospel we can repent and try again the next day.
