Hi I'm Mickaella

I am a fun-loving college student. I have explored 8 countries. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of three children. I attend Brigham Young University- Idaho where I am studying business finance with an emphasis in real estate. I am currently serving a full-time mission in Fukuoka Japan! I love the outdoors, shopping, volunteering, and meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to amazing LDS parents who have taught me to love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and who have encouraged me to find out for myself if this religion is true. I have prayed and studied the Bible and the Book of Mormon (Another Testament of Jesus Christ) for myself and I have gained a testimony that they are both the word of God, and when studied together will teach truth and will answer all of the questions of life. There have been times in my life where I have doubted the whole religion thing. I thought "Are all these things I have been taught throughout my life true?" I wanted to know for myself and through actively searching for truth and knowledge, I have gained for myself a testimony of this church, and that it is indeed the true church. I can testify that this is the same church that Christ established when he was on the Earth and it was restored through the prophet, Joseph Smith, in 1830 through God and Jesus Christ themselves. I have felt a glimpse of how much our Heavenly Father loves each of his children. I know He has a plan for me, and for all of us! If you want to uncover answers to life for yourself, find purpose, feel peace and love.. Read the Book of Mormon! Actively seek Jesus Christ and God and they will change your life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by maintaining high standards and seeking out the best things in life. I surround myself with people who will encourage me in making good decisions. I attend all my church meetings, and I actively seek to be involved with my faith. I set time aside to read the Bible and Book of Mormon, and communicate with my Father in Heaven through prayer, daily. I feel God's love when I do so. I am also a full-time missionary, and will be for 18 months. My purpose as a missionary is to invite others to come unto Jesus Christ. I want everyone to feel the joy that I have from living according to the same gospel Jesus Christ introduced while he was on the Earth thousands of years ago. Living this way has brought me pure joy, and has given me hope and assurance in times of pain and trial. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and this is why I have made the decision to serve a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love teaching the people of Japan about Jesus Christ and help them develop a relationship with him.
